About Me

I reconnect with the mythology of beings and worlds we have unlearned to perceive and see. Both internal and external.

Animal and plant speech.

Bare feet women, fairies and green hairy men.

Micro-worlds of friendly bacteria in bread leaven, fermenting vegetables and rotting compost.

Silence and darkness of the earth giving birth to the new life.

Stars, the portals to the universal diversity.

The moment when night breaks into day.

The seed and the invisible complete plant contained within.

I bake, write and sew. I’m still inspired by snails. My trade is now officially suspended. My contact is still in service, response is to be expected at a slower pace.

Thank you for your support and I wish you beautiful days of 2022,

Katerina.

“Grown-ups like numbers. When you tell them about a new friend, they never ask questions about what really matters. They never ask: ‘What does his voice sound like?’ ‘What games does he like best?’ ‘Does he collect butterflies?’ They ask: ‘How old is he?’ ‘How many brothers does he have?’ ‘How much does he weigh?’ ‘How much money does he have?’ Only then do they think they know him. If you tell grown-ups, ‘I saw a beautiful red brick house, with geraniums at the windows and doves at the roof…,’ they won’t be able to imagine such a house. You have to tell them, ‘I saw a house worth a thousand francs.’ Then they exclaim, ‘What a pretty house!” (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

“There’s no way to describe what I do. It’s just me.”
